Al Quds Underground

25-minute documentary following the development and results of a participatory art workshop in Al Quds (Jerusalem’s old city), Palestine.

In October 2009, Al Quds was named the global capital of Arab culture. The festival incorporated more than 300 artistic performances at secret private locations around the old city, celebrating the beauty of diversity of this sacred town that is so much troubled by conflict and tension.

The artists collaborated with local inhabitants, expressing their individual cultural richness behind doors that usually remain closed.
