Voice of a Nation

Voice of a Nation reflects on the last 10 years as director Jawed Taiman travels across Afghanistan to learn about the current state of affairs in his homeland through the perspectives and voices of his countrymen.

During his travels, Taiman talks to a diversity of Afghan men, women, and children–educated individuals, students, farmers, government employees, and even insurgents opposing the government. The film captures their uncensored, honest opinions and views on their lives, framing for Taiman a new perspective on a homeland he was forced to leave behind as a child.
